Public signs Alan Johnston petition

Members of the public have the opportunity to add their names to the petition calling for the release of kidnapped Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Gaza correspondent Alan Johnston.

The petition was launched in Monday's (2 April) Guardian newspaper when 300 leading figures from the journalistic community signed a calling for Johnston's release.

Now the public are adding their names to the petition which is continuing on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ News website this week.

Johnston has worked in Gaza for three years. He was last seen on the afternoon of 12 March 2007.
