The new commissions will feature four live performance shows and two compilations, to be broadcast later this year. The show returns to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two in May for its 29th series.
Mark Cooper, Creative Head of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Music Entertainment, said: "The plan is for three series in May, October and February. I think the idea of us being on earlier each year is exciting. For both us and the industry.
"As we close in on 15 years of Later. With Jools Holland, this is a fantastic vote of confidence in the show and what it does for music.
"Last series we introduced debuts by Mika, Just Jack, Mr Hudson and more, welcomed back Yusuf Islam and placed Bellowhead across the room from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two has also commissioned six special, themed editions of Top Of The Pops 2 that will appear to mark occasions, events and anniversaries throughout the coming year after the current weekly commission concludes at the end of this month.
The shows - each between an hour and 90-minutes long - will use subjects as varied as Eurovision and Halloween to bring together the best performances from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ archives.
The first special will coincide with the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, featuring Abba, Cliff Richard, Bucks Fizz and this year's UK hopefuls Scooch.
Other programmes include a retrospective of The Police and Sting's work to coincide with the band's comeback tour, and a compilation of the best of country music at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ in the run-up to the Country Music Association awards in November.
