Toby Foster - bigger at breakfast on Radio Sheffield
|
Fresh from his return entertaining Allied troops in Afghanistan for two weeks, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Sheffield's Toby Foster is ready for his next challenge - the brand new Breakfast Show from Monday 19 March.
Μύ
It's part of a new line-up for the station which sees Rony Robinson moving to lunchtime between noon and 3pm and Bob Ballard given an extra hour with a new look to afternoons between 3 and 6pm.
Μύ
Howard Pressman, Radio Sheffield's late show presenter, will look after a new show between 9am and midday until a new presenter arrives later in the year.
Μύ
Station Editor Gary Keown said: "It's an exciting time for the station and Toby's success and broad appeal makes him an ideal choice for our brand new Breakfast Show.
Μύ
"We're also looking to offer a new and exciting range of features across other new shows seven days a week to respond to our audience needs."
Μύ
Toby Foster said: "I'm really looking forward to the new format. We want to reflect what people are talking about but most important of all I want to put a smile on people's faces as they start their day."
Μύ
He adds: "The earlier starts will be a bit of a challenge but at least the mornings are about to get lighter and warmer."
Μύ
Radio Sheffield's current breakfast presenter Antonia Brickell is to take up a new challenge at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Cambridgeshire.
Μύ
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Sheffield is available on 104.1FM, 88.6FM, 94.7FM and digital radio.
