Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ to show Cricket World Cup highlights

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ will show comprehensive highlights of the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup which starts on 13 March 2007 in the West Indies.

Cricket fans can look forward to quality commentary and analysis, from the
only terrestrial broadcaster, with free-to-air coverage of the tournament -
across television, radio and online.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ One will air an hour's worth of highlights in a nightly television
programme, providing viewers with a round-up of the day's matches.

Manish Bhasin will anchor the programme, whilst Rishi Persad will act as roving reporter
across the islands.

Expert analysis will come from Jonathan Agnew and Geoffrey
Boycott; and commentary from a team to be announced.

The programme will be broadcast from a variety of locations such as beaches,
bars, rum shops, steel band performances and dominoes matches, providing
viewers with a taste of West Indian culture.

On radio, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Five Live Sports Extra and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 4 LW will be the home of ball-by-ball, live cricket commentary.

one match a day throughout the tournament.

Radio 4 LW, with comment coming from Geoffrey Boycott.
