Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Arabic in conversation with Sudanese youth

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Arabic builds on its earlier pan-Arab roadshow meeting young people across the Middle East with a new interactive initiative – Sudan: Voices And Views From Within.

The highlight is three live debates from three major cities – Khartoum, Wad Madani and Port Sudan.

Events also include interactive booths and graffiti posters, which have been placed in busy central locations. The aim is to kick start a conversation beyond Sudan to involve Arabic speakers across the region.

The first debate takes place in Khartoum on Monday 4 December where the education of women is the subject under discussion. In Wad Madani on Wednesday 6 December the topic is migration from the countryside to the city.

And finally, in Port Sudan on Monday 18 December, the subject is development and unemployment.

The debates will be broadcast live on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Arabic flagship programmes Talking Point and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Xtra.
