Waterloo Road

Waterloo Road returns for a second term on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ONE in January 2007

Waterloo Road is back on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ONE for a second term and once again bureaucracy, staff shortages, bullying and truancy are all high on the terms agenda.

Μύ

Can Waterloo Road survive in its present state, or will it need the support of private investors?

Μύ

The new series of 12 episodes starts in January 2007 on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ONE.

Μύ

The school is launching its first sixth form and ex-pupil and private investor Roger Aspinall (Nick Sidi) has promised money for the school, in return for a seat on the governing body.

Μύ

But with Roger's investment comes a list of changes which won't sit well with everyone.

Μύ

Jack Rimmer's (Jason Merrells) role as Head Teacher is now under threat, while Roger is going ahead with the plans to build Rochdale's first City Academy. Is this the beginning of the end for Waterloo Road?

Μύ

Meanwhile, teachers Izzie (Jill Halfpenny) and Tom (Jason Done) are happily together and expecting a new addition to their family. Even her daughters, Chlo (Katie Griffiths) and Mika (Lauren Drummond), have adjusted to having a man around the house.

Μύ

But Izzie and Tom get a shock on the first day back for the new school term when they see that Lorna (Camilla Power) has returned - they thought she had left.

Μύ

Lorna seems relaxed but Tom is unsettled; they can't trust her - she's definitely up to something.

Μύ

Kim Campbell (Angela Griffin) is determined to put her traumatic experience with ex-student Lewis Seddon (Craig Fitzpatrick) behind her and focus on her job. Kim is still fighting her feelings for Andrew Treneman, but will the chemistry prove too much for them both?

Μύ

New student Brett Aspinall (Tom Payne) is breaking hearts on his first day at school. He's quick, intelligent and determined to give the teachers a run for their money.

Μύ

Mika takes an immediate shine to him but she will have a fight on her hands: her best mate Leigh-Ann (Holly Mathews) also fancies him.

Μύ

New PA Davina Shackleton (Christine Tremarco) makes a very good impression on her first meeting with Jack Rimmer - it seems there is chemistry between them. But Davina is Roger Aspinall's appointment - could she be a spy in the camp?

Μύ

Eagle-eyed Steph (Denise Welch) spots competition in the sexy Davina and resolves to go above and beyond to ensure she still has her claws in Jack - but she has her work cut out.
