Tickets to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sports Personality Of The Year sell out within an hour

Some 3,000 public tickets to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Sports Personality of the Year show on Sunday 10 December have sold out this morning in less than an hour.

This is the first time in its 53-year history that the event will be held outside of London and be available to a public audience.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Executive Editor of Sports Personality of the Year, Philip Bernie, said: "This is great news. We're delighted with the public response, and it shows the great interest and affection the programme has for viewers.
