Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ meeting asks for Anglesey's views
|
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Wales bosses will be listening to the opinions of the people in North Wales
at a special public meeting in Anglesey as they work to develop a closer
relationship with audiences.
Μύ
The Broadcasting Council for Wales and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Wales are to hold the meeting on
Thursday 12 October 2006 at Ysgol Uwchradd Llangefni, Anglesey at 7.30 pm.
Μύ
Earlier this year, Anglesey was the focal point of more than two months of events
from Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Wales.
Μύ
This included special live radio outside broadcasts from the
town, an event helping people to trace their family trees, digital storytelling
workshops - enabling members of the public to make their own television
programmes - and visits from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ National Orchestra of Wales and television
programmes such as X-Ray and Scrum V.
Μύ
The meeting will also offer Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Wales an opportunity to gauge the response to
the Here For You community-based approach.
Μύ
The event will be hosted by Sian Pari Huws.
Μύ
Sian will give the audience the
chance to put their questions to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Governor Merfyn Jones, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Wales Controller Menna Richards and members of the Broadcasting Council for Wales.
Μύ
For free tickets, phone 08703 500 700.
