In tonight's How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?, hosted by Graham Norton on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ONE, best friends Abi and Aoife bit the dust as the public chose their three finalists.
Μύ
This week, Maria's mission was a chemistry test where John Barrowman surprised the girls by snogging them unexpectedly - a task the girls embraced with relish.
Μύ
As the first show came to an end after five energetic performances, the viewers' least favourite Marias - Abi and Aoife - had to sing-off with Any Dream Will Do from Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, and show the Lord of the Theatre that they were worthy of a place in next week's final.
Μύ
Knowing this was the final week where he would get to save someone, Andrew Lloyd Webber was von trapping himself and really feeling the pressure.
Μύ
He chose to save Aoife: "Thinking about the casting and what we have to do for this show, I'm saving Aoifie."
Μύ
On Abi, Andrew said: "There's no doubt she has great wit and comic timing. I'm not sure about Maria, I'm really not."
Μύ
Then in the second show tonight, after John Barrowman's performance of Robbie Williams' Have You Met Miss Jones?, the two least favourite were Aoife, again, and Siobhan.
Μύ
After a tense sing-off with Don't Cry For Me Argentina from Evita, Andrew made his final saving decision of the series and chose to save Siobhan, leaving Aoife devastated that she had not made the final.
Μύ
Andrew said: "Talk about dilemma! I have to think about acting and singing. I have to think it's a musical at the end of the day and it's about singing. And for that reason I have to think Siobhan."
Μύ
The finalists for next week are Connie Fisher, 23, from Pembrokeshire;
Siobhan Dillon, 22, from Staffordshire; and
Helena Blackman, 23, from Southampton.
Μύ
One of these three will win a six month leading-role contract to play Maria in the new West End version of The Sound of Music.
Μύ
Next week, only the viewers can decide who will win this chance of a lifetime.
