For the first time the Ten O'Clock News and Newsnight are being made available as
video podcasts for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ News viewers to watch on the move as part of a 12-month
trial.

From now on viewers can download Ten Weekly - the best of the week's
Ten O'Clock News packages - as well as subscribe to top Newsnight
reports and investigations from the last week presented by the regular Newsnight
team.

Adrian Van Klaveren, Deputy Director of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ News, says: "This trial aims to give people a range of great Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ News content that they can
enjoy watching in a completely different way on new portable devices."

This is part of a Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ-wide 12-month trial offering some of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's best
journalism as video downloads.

Also available in the first phase of the trial
is STORYFix - which takes a high-speed tongue-in-cheek look at the last week's
news on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ.

Adrian Van Klaveren adds: "We view video podcasting as a convenient way for our audiences to consume Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ
News content at a time and place of their choosing - both established programmes
such as the Ten and Newsnight but also content they may not have come across such
as STORYFix."

Ten Weekly will be available every Wednesday; STORYFix and Newsnight will be
published on a Friday evening.

Later in the year, the trial continues with the addition of the highlights from
each week's Question Time and a new daily news briefing aimed at the morning
commuter.

of the 12-month video podcast trial.
