Richard Deverell, Controller, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Children's, today announced the appointment of Damian Kavanagh, Head of Planning and Scheduling for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ THREE, as Independent Commissioning Executive and Head of Scheduling, CΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and CBeebies.

In this joint role, he will work closely with Anne Gilchrist, Creative Director, CΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ, in developing and overseeing content from the independent sector.

Damian will also be responsible for scheduling two digital channels, CΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and CBeebies, as well as for children's output on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ
ONE and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ TWO. He will take an active role in developing formulating the content and brand strategy for CΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ.

Damian joined Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Channel Management in 1997 where he has held various roles including Scheduler for the former Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ CHOICE and Schedule Manager, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ONE. He has been Head of Planning and Scheduling for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ THREE since 2004.
