Actor, comedian and magician Martin Daniels is set to join Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Lincolnshire as a regular presenter.

Μύ

Martin, son of magician Paul, is well known to Lincolnshire audiences for his starring roles in the Lincoln Theatre Royal's pantomimes.

Μύ

His background also includes TV, the stage and, of course, magic.

Μύ

Martin will be on the air between 9.30am and 1.00pm every weekday from Monday 3 April with presenter Maria Richmond who is already well known for her work on Radio Lincolnshire and Lincs FM.

Μύ

He said: "I am really excited about the show because I've enjoyed 27 years in show business and I see radio as a brand new challenge for me - it's a great opportunity.

Μύ

"It's fantastic from a personal point of view as well because I've spent quite a few years jetting around the world working on cruise ships which sounds glamorous but is quite difficult when you have young children."

Μύ

The new show will include celebrity interviews, phone-ins and competitions plus help and advice on lifestyle issues.

Μύ

Radio Lincolnshire Managing Editor Charlie Partridge said: "Martin is a great new recruit for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Lincolnshire.

Μύ

"Anyone who has seen him on stage or TV will know that he is a very warm, funny guy with a deep love of this area."
