With all tickets now sold the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ coverage of The Edinburgh Military Tattoo is the only place to see this spectacular musical pageant set in the unique setting of Edinburgh Castle Esplanade.

As well as providing entertainment from a wide range of top class acts from around the world, The Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2005 celebrates the Royal Navy and commemorates the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.

The tattoo features the Massed Bands of Her Majesty's Royal Marines and the unique sights and sounds of the Massed Pipes & Drums from Scotland and the Commonwealth.

This year 11 pipe bands feature, including what could be the poignant appearance of the pipes and drums from several Scottish Regiments in their traditional regimental dress before they are reformed as battalions in the Royal Regiment of Scotland.

Other highlights will include the Massed Highland Dancers featuring dancers from Scotland and New Zealand, The Band and Bugles of the Light Division, The Imps Motorcycle Display Team, the spectacular Cossack Dancers, The King's Guard from Norway and The Massed Bands of The Royal Marines.

As always the tattoo will feature the haunting sound of the Lone Piper high on the Castle Ramparts.

More than 1,000 performers are set to feature in this summer's tattoo, all performed against the famous backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.
