Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ THREE has commissioned a second series of the popular comedy series Ideal, three further The Trouble With. documentaries following last year's RTS-nominated The Trouble With Black Men, and series of Spendaholics and Honey We're Killing The Kids!

Ideal, in which Johnny Vegas reprises his role as Moz, a small-time dope dealer, is a co-venture between Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Comedy North and Baby Cow productions.

Commissioned for eight half-hour episodes, the series is written by Graham Duff with additional material from Tony Burgess.

The executive producers are Kenton Allen, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Editor of Comedy, and Henry Normal and Steve Coogan for Baby Cow.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Comedy North is enjoying tremendous success following its launch in October 2003. As well as the new series of Ideal, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ THREE has also commissioned Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Comedy North to turn the recent pilot of I'm With Stupid into a six-part series which will go into production later this year.

And filming will start next month on ten-part series Funland, a darkly twisted comic thriller. Two new comedy pilots for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Three will also go into production later this year.

The Trouble With... series of documentaries from Diverse follows the acclaimed The Trouble With Black Men, in which David Mathews tackled the issues facing young black men in Britain today.

In The Trouble With Young People, journalist Carole Malone condemns liberal and over-indulgent parenting; broadcaster and writer Simon Fanshawe challenges gay stereotypes in The Trouble With Gay Men; and comedian and writer Robin Ince is disturbed by the emergence of an older generation growing old disgracefully in The Trouble With Old People. The executive producer is Leonie Jameson.
