The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ will be live in Rome for the funeral of Pope John Paul II with coverage on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ONE from 8.40am and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 4 LW from 8.55am.

Huw Edwards will be setting the scene on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ONE and is joined in the studio by the Archbishop of Birmingham, the Most Rev Vincent Nichols, and church historian Professor Eamonn Duffy.

They will be providing commentary and analysis and reflecting on the spiritual significance of this historic ceremony.
