Asia Remembered - three minutes silence on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ

In memory of those killed
in the Asian tsunami disaster, a Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ News Special: Asia Remembered
will be shown on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ONE and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ News 24 on Wednesday 5 January 2005
from 11.30am to 12.15pm.
The programme will include the EU-wide three minute silence at noon
while showing scenes from around the UK.
Dermot Murnaghan will present the programme with
live reports from Jon Sopel in Sri Lanka and an update
on the Disasters Emergency Committee's fundraising efforts.
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ TWO will also observe the three minutes silence at noon along with
CΒι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World.
The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's analogue and digital radio networks will also be carrying
the three minute silence.
