Veteran comedian and broadcaster
Cyril Fletcher, who appeared on many Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ radio and television programmes
including Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ONE's That's Life, has died.

Former That's Life presenter Esther Rantzen paid tribute: "He
will be tremendously and fondly remembered by the millions who enjoyed
his odes and wit on That's Life.

"He was an established and much loved figure when he joined us
and we were very lucky to have the pleasure of his company both professionally
and personally."

A Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ spokesperson said: "Cyril Fletcher appeared on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Television
from its earliest days at Alexandra Palace in the 1930s and made countless
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ radio and television appearances.

weekly contribution from the armchair on That's Life. Our thoughts are
