Blur's Alex James covers Glastonbury for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World Service

Critically acclaimed acts such as Oasis, Black Eyed Peas, Franz Ferdinand and PJ Harvey feature as Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World Service broadcasts live from the Glastonbury festival on Sunday 27 June from 9.00 - 11.00pm.

With the assistance of Blur's bass guitarist Alex James, DJ Kevin Greening brings listeners back stage interviews and the best of the festival's music.

There will also be live performances from rockers Black Rebel Motor Cycle Club and one of the last appearances from legendary dance duo Orbital.

Following the festival there will be two further round-up programmes on Monday 28 June and Monday 5 July (time tbc) bringing you more highlights from this year's event.

British indie band Blur dominated pop culture in the mid-90s. They achieved success with number one hits including Country House and Beetlebum.
