ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide channels today announced the appointment of Zbigniew Pruski as Commercial Manager for the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ thematic channel portfolio across Central and Eastern Europe.
Reporting into Jacek Koskowski, General Manager for ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide Channels CEE, the role is the second senior appointment for the Warsaw office and underpins ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwideβs commitment to establishing a local team in the market.
Zbigniew began his television career at Program Sp z.o.o, a distribution and management agency for international and local TV broadcasters in the Polish market. Latterly he served as the key account manager for broadcasters such as CNBC Europe, ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide and NGC, responsible for negotiating carriage for their channels with cable operators in the market.
He joins ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide from Discovery Networks Central Europe where he was Affiliate Sales Administration Executive. In this role Zbigniew was tasked with securing distribution for Discovery through the cablenet and hotel business, and supported the affiliate team through regular market and competitor analysis to determine future business opportunities.
Working closely with Jacek Koskowski, Zbigniew will be responsible for developing strategic distribution initiatives and driving revenue growth and across the CEE region for the six-strong ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ thematic channels available in the market.
