Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Magazines Bristol has this week announced the launch of Man In Space, a fully interactive app that tells the story of mankind's five decades beyond Earth.
The Man In Space app has been released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's historic first spaceflight in April 1961, and brings users a brand new way to explore the latest bookazine - of the same name - from Sky at Night Magazine on the iPad.
The app combines all the content of the printed version of Man In Space with a host of enhanced features and interactive elements exclusive to the tablet format. The app features over 20 integrated videos with footage ranging from Gagarin's first flight to the latest launch of Space Shuttle Discovery. Other exclusive features include 3D views of legendary spacecraft which will allow users to examine them from any angle, and 360-degree panoramic views of the Moon. Plus there's stunning images and themed photo galleries, and interactive infographics.
