More than 26 hours of world class natural history content from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's renowned Natural History Unit will air on the Nine Network following a deal with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide Australia.

The deal includes the pre-sale of Frozen Planet to Channel Nine, the latest title from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's new portfolio natural history offering, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Earth. Narrated by David Attenborough and from the makers of the astounding Planet Earth, the six part series, due to launch in 2011, is an epic portrait of two disappearing wildernesses – the Arctic and the Antarctic, before they change forever. Many of the spectacular landscapes, charismatic animals and their behaviour have never been filmed before.

Other world-renowned natural history content will air on Nine's new digital platform GEM.

Wild South America: Andes to Amazon, Wild Caribbean, and David Attenborough's outstanding 10-part series Life of Mammals will all transmit from later on this year.
