New VP of Format Sales at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide

Elin Thomas has been named as the new VP of Format Sales for EMEA at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide.

Elin will take on her new role in time for this year's MIPTV market where she will be in charge of a catalogue including our new titles Run for It, Fat Family Diet and Famous, Rich and Jobless.

Elin moves from her previous role as Territory Manager for Scandinavia at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide where she has managed all sales activity for the past four years. Prior to this Elin was Territory Manager for Eastern Europe and worked as a sales exec for Benelux.

Elin Thomas said: "I am looking forward to building on the global success of hits such as Dancing with the Stars, The Office and The Weakest Link as well as launching new titles to the market.

"Having spent almost 10 years in TV distribution, I am looking forward to the added creativity of the formats business, tailoring new and existing formats to the broadcasters' needs and making sure Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide is at the forefront of format distribution throughout EMEA."

Elin worked in the Benelux and Eastern Europe sales teams before taking on the role of Territory Manager for Scandinavia in 2005 where she brokered key deals such as the recent deal to Swedish broadcaster SVT which included titles such as Married Single Other, Emma, Nature's Great Events and Frozen Planet.

Elin joined Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide in the International Book Licensing department before moving to Motion Gallery and finally Sales & Distribution in 2001.
