Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ History Magazine will next week launch a 116-page bookazine, The Second World War Story, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the start of the conflict.
Priced Β£5.99, the perfect bound title will be on sale exclusively at WH Smith from 15 September and has an initial print run of 30,000.
The special edition is a comprehensive guide to the conflict and features a collection of the best articles on the Second World War from past issues of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ History Magazine, alongside specially commissioned features by the country's leading historians and first-hand accounts from war veterans.
Content includes: a pictorial timeline by Terry Charman of the Imperial War Museum; features on the Battle of Britain, the D-Day campaign and VE Day; and a guide to researching ancestors who fought in the war.
