With the festive season rapidly approaching, the new children's DVD releases from Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide are set to provide some welcome relief for parents everywhere. The Sarah Jane Adventures: The Complete Second Series allows viewers to join Sarah Jane and the gang in their quests to save the Earth from unspeakable dangers, including the Sontaran – a regular foe of the Doctor himself. But it’s not just the villains getting Sarah Jane into danger, as she finds out when she goes back in time to meet the parents she never knew – with disastrous consequences. With the three disc box set, priced at £19.56, to be released 9th November, fans will want to keep an eye out for a cameo from Russ Abbot.

Your children can dive back in to some imaginative fun with two new releases from Charlie and Lola, produced by Tiger Aspect. Their eleventh DVD, 'Everything is different and not the same and other stories' RRP Β£12.71, follows the ever so super duo through nine of their marvellous adventures, with Lola learning some valuable lessons along the way.

For devoted Charlie & Lola fans, Charlie and Lola: The absolutely complete series 3 box set contains twenty-seven stories, based on the books by Lauren Child, to captivate children and parents alike in their wonderful mix of reality and daydream. Priced at Β£24.46, the box set includes three DVDs. Both Charlie and Lola releases are available from 12th October, 2009.

The LazyTown Christmas Collection contains two festive-themed DVDs, packed with fun and games! As always, the excitement never stops in LazyTown as Sportacus faces the challenges of Robbie Rotten, but will he be able to save the day when Robbie combines all of his most dastardly plans? With an RRP of £15.65, the DVD includes the fantastic LazyTown karaoke, so your little ones can join in the Christmas celebrations. The LazyTown fun doesn’t stop there though, as Sportacus on the Move, the eighth volume of the series on DVD, is also soon to be released. Christmas favourite Robbie the Reindeer returns in Robbie the Reindeer Trilogy – The Whole Herd. Now all three Robbie the Reindeer films are brought together on DVD, along with some exciting and exclusive extras! Released on 2nd November, this motley crew of loveable, antlered and downright bizarre characters are brought to life in state-of-the-art model animation and voices from a stellar cast including Ricky Gervais, Sir David Attenborough and Keira Knightley. With a RRP of £12.71 and fun for all, this boxset proves to be just as entertaining for the parents as the young ones.
