Radio Times today announced its TV and radio listings are available via an application on the Apple App Store. The app will enable iPhone and iPod touch users to browse Radio Times' extensive listings including seven days worth of TV and radio programme information across 400 channels and stations.
"We are really proud of this application for iPhone and iPod touch as it's a great mobile extension of the Radio Times brand and provides an excellent user experience," said Radio Times publishing director Kathy Day. "Consumers not only want to watch TV and listen to radio on the move, but they also want to know what is available to them, at any time."

The application, designed by US company, tvCompass, Inc., is the result of a new deal between Radio Times and US company tvCompass Inc., marks the latest in a series of initiatives from Radio Times' owner, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide, to bring its content to iPhone and iPod users. Over the past year Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide was the first UK distributor to launch HD content on the platform and has launched many popular television and radio brands on iTunes in the UK, US, France and Germany, with other territory launches planned for 2009. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide's international trade has been recognised today by HM The Queen, who granted the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's commercial arm with a Queen’s Award for Export.
