This is
the legendary tale of two plucky pigs, Butch and Sundance, who captured
the hearts of the nation when they notoriously escaped a Wiltshire slaughterhouse
and went on the run back in January 1998.
When two
5-month-old boars flee from the local abattoir, journalist Jenny Best
(Emma Pierson) writes about their death-defying escape and in no time
at all, a whole media circus erupts to help her and the local Police
track them down.
As the
pigs continue to evade capture, the evil slaughterhouse boss Wolf (Kevin
Whately) arrives on the scene to hunt the pigs down and take them back
to the abattoir where they will surely face imminent deathΒ…
Will the
gutsy Butch and Sundance continue to avoid capture? Or will they fail
to outsmart the cruel, calculating Wolf and end up back in that gruesome
abattoir? And most importantly of all, will they eventually make it
back to Tamworth and be reunited with their mother as the spirit of
the Wild Boar has promisedΒ…?
