THE
OFFICE SCOOPS TWO GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINATIONS
The
hit comedy The Office has been nominated for two Golden Globes it
was announced yesterday in Los Angeles, California.
The
show, which airs on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ AMERICA - the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's US cable network - has
received huge critical acclaim: "Wickedly funny," New
York Times; "One of the best comedic creations ever,"
San Francisco Chronicle; "The best television to hit American
screens in years," Chicago Tribune and "So perfectly made
and so delicately acted," Entertainment Weekly.
In
the category of Best Musical or Comedy Series, The Office was nominated
alongside Sex and the City (HBO), Will and Grace (NBC), Arrested
Development (Fox) and Monk (USA).
Ricky
Gervais has also been nominated for Best Actor, Musical or Comedy
Series. The other nominees are Matt LeBlanc (Friends), Bernie Mac
(The Bernie Mac Show), Eric McCormack (Will and Grace), Tony Shalhoub
(Monk).
