Worldwide has signed a deal with Prime TV for children's favourites,
Tweenies, Bill and Ben and Noddy in a new Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ branded children's
block for the channel. The Tweenies will be followed by a revolving
Bill and Ben and Noddy half hour block transmitting weekdays from
7.30-8.00am.
Julie
Dowding, Head of Programme Sales, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide Australasia says,
"We are very excited that Prime Television will be screening
the first Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Children's Branded Block in New Zealand. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ branded
children's block ensures that the much loved kids programmes will
be back on air for all NZ children to enjoy."
"The
success of the children's programme block indicates the strength
of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ and Chorion brands and the quality and range of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ produced
programmes. Licensing programming in this way gives us superb cross-promotional
platforms for merchandising, publishing and channels around the
world," adds Dowding.
Chorion's
Make Way for Noddy is the brand new computer-generated animated
series based on Enid Blyton's classic character. The colourful programme
introduces Toyland's favourite taxi driver and his magical friends
Big Ears, Tessie Bear, Mr Plod and naughty goblins Sly and Gobbo,
to a whole new generation of children. In each episode, Noddy learns
lessons along the way that are equally applicable to his core pre-school
audience.
Pre-school
favourite, Tweenies, shows characters Fizz, Bella, Jake and Milo
sing songs, play games and read stories with the help of their carers
Max and Judy, while Bill & Ben explore friendship together and
with their family of characters within their unique garden setting.
Vibrant animation combined with rich story lines continue to entertain
young children, and encourage an active interest in the wonders
of the outdoor world.
