Fools & Horses - Strangers on the Shore
The
second part of the final trilogy, Strangers on the Shore sees Del
and Rodney on a trip to France to attend Uncle Albert's military
reunion, and returning with more duty free than they'd bargained
for!
On
arrival in the French village, Del (David Jason) and Rodney (Nicholas
Lyndhurst) are intrigued to learn that Uncle Albert was hounded
out of the country by the Resistance during the war, due to his
randy ways! When Del and Rodney notice all the villages share Albert's
mariner's beardΒ… is this just a bizarre coincidence?
On
the journey back the fun continues when Rodney is annoyed to learn
that Del has pre-arranged to meet Boycie (John Challis), Trigg (Roger
Lloyd Pack) and Denzil (Paul Barber) for a dodgy booze scam at Duty
Free, using Denzil's empty van.
It's
only when they get back to sunny Peckham they discover an illegal
immigrant has stowed away in the van. Calling him Gary, the boys
attempt to pass him off as one of the family, but when he escapes
the trouble comes thick and fast, and it is not long before the
boys wind up in Les Nick, arrested as The Gary Gang!
