I'm Alan Partridge - Series 2

VHS and DVD Release: 10th November 2003

Five years after disappearing from our screens, Alan Partridge (Steve Coogan) bounced back.

In the last series of I'm Alan Partridge, Alan had lost his TV series for the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ, his wife had left him; he was working as DJ at Radio Norwich and living at The Linton Travel Tavern. He had narrowly missed out on a new 5 year contract with the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ, when the controller died tragically just as the lucrative new contract was about to be signed. The last 5 intervening years have been difficult for Alan, he had a breakdown and drove to Dundee in his bare feet.

However as with all resilient celebrities, Alan has made a comeback and is now living in a caravan on the building site of his new home. His Ukrainian girlfriend Sonja (Amelia Bullmore) is a mere 33 years old to his 47 years and he hosts a regular slot on Radio Norwich and still enjoys a frank exchange of opinions with his fellow colleague DJ Dave Clifton (Phil Cornwell).

Faithful PA Lynn (Felicity Montagu) is still by Alan's side, but the five years have seen great change in Lynn's life, not least of which is her new haircut. Michael (Simon Greenall) has also moved on from the Linton Travel Tavern and now works in the local garage, a handy call in point for Alan on his way home from work. Alan's written an account of his climb back in a book called "Bouncing Back..with Alan Partridge" which he's hoping will help resurrect his national career.

Extras on this double DVD include an 'Anglian Lives' documentary with Alan, 'Unused Alan' deleted scenes, cast and production commentary, 'Add On Alan' 10 minutes additional material, 'Alan Aid' highlights from the 1991 and 2001 Comic Relief shows, 'Audio Alan' jingles gallery and 'Still Alan' photo gallery.
