It seems that stripes are the new stars as Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Fimbles dominates
the UK's book and plush toy charts and entertains the nation's toddlers.
In
just one year, the success of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Fimbles reads like a hit
list as it continues to hold a strong market position across all
sectors, following in the tradition of Teletubbies and Tweenies.
Fimbles
books are firm favourites for kids with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide's Fimbles
Sticker Book, Storybook and Blue all occupying key positions in
the Top Ten Neilsen Bookscan Children's Tie-in chart (Neilsen Bookscan
chart).

Fimbles magazine boasts a circulation of over 120, 000 (Audit Bureau
of Circulation, Jan - June 2003). Launched in November 2002, the
magazine is now the 3rd highest-selling UK pre-school magazine.
The
Fimbles web page on the CBeebies website enjoys an average of 900,
000 hits per week, with stories and games providing interactive
fun for British pre-schoolers.
Latest
data reveals that the Fimbles toy range, produced by Fisher-Price
Mattel, tops the Plush Toy and Games chart with Fimbles Soft &
Cuddly beanie holding the number one chart position and Baby Pom,
Florrie and Fimbo toys occupying positions four, five and six in
the chart (NPD Group data, July 2003). Fimbles has dominated the
number one spot continuously for the last six moths.
