nursery wins national Tweenies competition to celebrate National
Playday in style
Lucky
tots from The Children's Place Private Day Nursery in Wyke, Bradford
will be able to celebrate in style on National Playday on 6 August
after winning a national competition, which was part of a Tweenies
nursery initiative, to win a range of Tweenies toys and outdoor
equipment.
The
brainchild behind the winning entry is Playgroup leader Claire Hardman,
who won a Tweenies themed bouncy castle as well as a scooter, tricycle,
paddling pool, beach balls and a kite, after wowing judges with
her fun ideas about how the nursery would celebrate National Playday.
Pre-schoolers
at The Children's Place nursery will be amongst 100,000 children
all over the UK who take part in Playday, which is the country's
biggest celebration of children's play. Run by the Children's Society
and the Children's Play Council. This year's theme encourages children
to 'Get Out and Play" following research showing that outdoor
play benefits children's development of social and physical skills.
Dianne
Cloonan, Brand Manager, Tweenies at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide commented, "We're
delighted for The Children's Place nursery who came up with fabulous
ideas for their very own active Playday. I hope that they all have
lots of fun on August 6th and beyond, playing with all the Tweenies
product!"
