"I no longer see us as father and daughter" - Angelina Jolie

Tomb Raider movie star Angelina Jolie tells this week's Radio Times that her rekindled relationship with father Jon Voight is over. The 28 year-old actress also makes some frank admissions regarding her sexuality and explains why she's setting up home in a jungle.

Following a disturbing letter from her Dad last year, Jolie decided she wasn't going to respect his opinion ever again. "I no longer see us as father and daughter, " she explains in Radio Times. "I won't have unhealthy relationships in my life. That's why it was easy for me to divorce, and easy for me not to speak to my father. I don't regret it."

Hollywood's version of Lara Croft was only 14 and living with a boyfriend when she became fascinated with the darker side of sex. "It didn't seem primal enough, or satisfy me, " she confesses. "I had the idea we should nick each other with a knife, bleed, and see if that did something. I still have the scars. It was a desperate need to feel."

The actress also admits to falling for a female co-star during the making of a movie in 1996. "I believe you love people, whether they're a man or a woman," she reveals. "I understand the love of one woman for another because I've felt it."

Jolie is also building a house in the middle of the Cambodian jungle for both herself and 20-month-old adopted son, Maddox. "We're demining the area," she tells Radio Times. "Recently, Maddox and I walked into a field in our back yard where they'd found 48 different grenades."
