ballet spectacular from the historic Mariinsky Theatre, with opera

companies.
The
production will chart the city's rich history and culture, both
in its set design and repertoire and will include great moments
from Russian opera and ballet by Tchaikovsky, Borodin, Mussorgsky
and Prokofiev.
More
than forty world leaders and heads of state have been invited to
attend the evening, hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Opus
Arte co-produced the event with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Television, The Mariinsky Theatre
and RTR Russia. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Worldwide, the corporation's consumer commercial
arm, has international television distribution rights outside Russia
