17.04.03 The
Daily Telegraph Plants & Flowers Magazine
The
second of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Magazines' Telegraph gardening specials will be called
The Daily Telegraph Plants & Flowers and goes on-sale 30th April,
priced at Β£3.95. The magazine contains beautiful features
that combine the unique gardening expertise of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Magazines and
The Daily Telegraph.
Plants
& Flowers follows The Daily Telegraph Gardens to Visit title
that went on-sale 5th March 2003. Both are Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ magazines published
using The Daily Telegraph brand under licence, to coincide with
the peak of the spring gardening season.
Dominic
Murray, Publisher, said: "Our aim is to grow the Gardening
category overall, and alongside Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Gardeners' World, Easy Gardening
and Gardens Illustrated, the two new Telegraph-branded magazines
are a key part of our strategy. By delivering to readers gardening
content of the highest quality in partnership with The Daily Telegraph
we believe we are bringing to the newsstands the best themed gardening
magazines currently available."
Both
titles have been developed to complement rather than compete with
the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's existing stable of gardening magazines and the Gardening
section that appears with The Daily Telegraph each Saturday. Plants
& Flowers includes features by gardening experts Sarah Raven
and Roy Lancaster.
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ
