new distribution contract for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World with Eurasiasat
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ
World has entered into a new two-year agreement with Eurasiasat
providing Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World additional availability via satellite across
the Central Asia region. The agreement represents an increase of
over one million households now receiving Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World in countries
such as Turkey, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan,
Kyrgystan, Kazakstan, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Under
the conditions of the agreement, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World will be transmitted on
the fixed Eastern beam of the Eurasiasat satellite and will be broadcast
in analogue and free to air.
Commenting
on the new distribution, Simon Cottle, Senior Network Development
Manager, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World said: "We are delighted to have developed
a relationship with Eurasiasat, enabling Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World to be seen in
the increasingly important region of Central Asia, a part of the

in Central Asia."
