Award Winning Bob Returns on PC CD-ROM

Following on from the success of the "Fix it" range of titles, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Multimedia is publishing 'Bob The Builder - Bob Builds a Park' on PC CD-ROM.

The Best Children's Software Company 2001* is bringing back the popular children's TV character to PC CD-ROM following the International success of its "Fix It Fun" title on Game Boy Color, and "Can We Fix It?" title on PC and PlayStation. First published in 2000, these products are now available in 10 countries around the world. In addition, "Can We Fix It?" won two industry gold awards - from BIMA and IVCA in 2001.

HIT Entertainment's loveable character, Bob the Builder has become an international phenomena, now shown in over 140 countries worldwide. Aired on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ONE since April 1999, the pre-school show has an audience of 1.1 million, and was also the highest rated children's TV show in the USA in 2001.

The series is set in Bob's yard and features a gang of all-talking, all-action building machines: Scoop the Digger, Muck the bulldozer, Dizzy the cement mixer, Lofty the crane and Roley the steamroller. The owner of the yard, Bob the Builder, runs his own construction business with his assistant Wendy...and of course Pilchard the cat is never far away!

He has also had music success with 'Can we fix it?', the biggest selling single in the UK in 2000 and number one in Australia in 2001, and a number one with 'Mambo No 5' in the UK.

'Bob Builds a Park' combines the appeal of the television series with the fun of an interactive format. As the software title suggests, children of three years and above are encouraged to help Bob and his construction crew to create a recreational park through activities including:

  • Build a Park with Bob Create endless exciting park designs adding ponds, band stands and flowers. And then view the park in all the different seasons and print out your design.
  • Skateboard Spud Fix the broken skateboard with Bob and then help Spud perform amazing tricks and stunts!
  • Mr Ellis' Dinosaur Discovery Choose to build up to three dinosaur skeletons with Bob and Mr Ellis.
  • Lofty's Squirrel Run Help Lofty to build a run, so the hungry squirrels can reach their nuts.
  • Bob's Crazy Golf help Muck around a maze to collect the pieces he needs to create his golf course.
  • Farmer Pickles' Pets Corner Help collect food to lure the various animals into their correct homes!
