sample It's HOT! magazine in pre-launch campaign
It's
HOT! - Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Magazines' unique new monthly entertainment title for
9-13 year olds - goes on sale for the first time on Tuesday, 16
April, priced Β£1.80, with free covermounted alarm clock.
The
launch of the magazine has been heralded by a massive sampling exercise,
with special preview issues of It's HOT! being distributed with
sister titles such as market-leader Top Of The Pops Magazine, and
with more than two million copies of the Sunday Mirror nationally.
The launch will also be supported by major in-store activity in
a variety of retailers.
The
new magazine will feature the hottest pop, TV and movies, with gossip,
confessions, star photos and quizzes, plus an official EastEnders
comic strip. There has already been a fantastic response to It's
Hot!, with more than 3,000 readers of the first preview magazine
signing up to join the It's Hot! Club before they have even seen
the first full issue.
Says
Publishing Director Lindsaye Fox: "It's HOT! will be the only
magazine of its kind catering for the younger end of the teen market
and its launch is being backed by a substantial awareness-raising
campaign. Judging by the response we've had so far it looks like
the launch is being very keenly awaited."
It's
HOT! incorporates predecessor teen title L&K, which ceased publication
in March, and will be produced by the former L&K team, led by
Editor Peter Hart and Editor in Chief Jeremy Mark.
