Record viewing quarter for ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ World News according to PAX data - Daily growth up by 22%

The latest Synovate PAX survey shows another record viewing quarter for ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ World News, with the highest weekly viewership since 2005.Β 

ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ World News, the fastest growing international news channel, continues to grow on all three measures- daily, weekly and monthly.Β Β  Its monthly reach is up 10% to 2.5 million across the region, representing a reach of 25%, while the weekly growth rate rose 15% to 1.4 million, signifying a reach of 14%.Β  Also, the channel’s daily reach rose 5% to 582,000, (a rise of 22%), while the closest competitor only had a 3% daily growth rate.Β 

The news channel saw its weekly audience grow in diverse markets such as Manila (+29%), India (+22%) and Singapore (+ 22%).Β  It increased dramatically among high earning individuals and delivers the highest weekly reach within this target audience among all regional channels. Β ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ World News also has the highest reach among news channels with viewers in the upper grade in government and is attracting additional younger upscaleΒ users. Viewers aged 25-29 constitutes the largest group of viewers and this has seen a year on year increase of 20%.

The Synovate PAX study surveys pan-regional and local viewing, as well as product consumption, among affluent adults and business people in main cities in the Asia Pacific region. The latest survey covers the 1st quarter of 2010.Β
