To accompany the launch of its new daily London-Los Angeles service on 31 March 2008, Air France is teaming up with the international news channel ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ World to offer customers their favourite daily news bulletins. Every month, close to 13,000 passengers on board the new London-Los Angeles flights will have access to the latest afternoon news bulletins (flight departs at 5pm), at over 30,000 feet.

As part of the EU-U.S. Open Skies agreement, Air France has inaugurated its first transatlantic service out of an airport outside France, with the comfortable Boeing 777 aircraft flying the London-Heathrow – Los Angeles route. Air France’s ambition to offer its customers an innovative, high-quality service is reflected in its efforts to tailor the service to suit the preferences of its UK/US customers. Thanks to a very convenient flight schedule – the Air France flight is the last flight of the day departing London at 5pm and the next-to-last flight departing Los Angeles at 8.25pm, passengers not only benefit from a day’s work or leisure but can also enjoy the early afternoon’s ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ News broadcast.
