Glow is a JavaScript library developed in partnership by the FM&T Vision, OMG & UXD teams. It is designed to simplify the development of richly interactive websites in a manner compliant with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Standards & Guidelines (primarily Browser Support, Accessibility and Visual Language), and following the very highest industry standards for quality and performance.
The project has been running since October 2007 with a very small team, it now stands at version 1.1 and offers a very rich feature set. Glow is now in use by virtually all FM&T teams working on bbc.co.uk, and powers many high profiles sites such as the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔpage, iPlayer, News, Identity and most Vision sites, to name but a few.
