Liam Hanna's moment was on 16th January 1976

Liam Hanna (repeat)

"Everything clicked about nature's one-ness. I felt a powerful sense of the integration of nature and life."

The Story

The location was Beachside, Adelaide, Australia. The date was Jan 16th 1976.

It was a hot summer's night - around 40 degrees - and difficult to sleep. At that time there was a plaugue of Christmas beetles. At dawn a massive deep red sun appeared out of the sea.

My View

"Ever since that moment, I have been tuned into what I like to call 'the high of life'. I have a zest for life and I never feel down. I have a constant smile. My alter-ego is the Cosmic Clown."

The story continues...

Liam came from Australia to Northern Ireland in 2005 and worked with the National Trust. He told us he felt it was a big privilege to be able to go to the many beautiful spots around N.I.

In May 2007, he left Northern Ireland to return to Australia, pausing for a few days in London to run the London marathon. Liam has taken part in about 30 marathons, including the Belfast Marathon in 2006.
