Comment: My sister is named Susan Mateer. If you have any info on our families please email me. I live in alaska and grew up in ohio.

Comment: My brother is named James Mateer after our grandfather who was born near the turn of the century in NY USA. My brother was born in 1957, but he resembles the Mr Mateer in the story. Could there be a long ago connection?
