Comment: Mairead:It was a thrill to listen to your excellently related story.Indeed,Charlie McAuley painted beautiful pictures of a bye-gone rural life especially in the Glens of Antrim. Try and acquire "Days of the Corncrake" with paintings by Charlie and poems by John Hewitt who had a holiday cottage in the Glens. You,Tom and family would return to it time after time.
Continue to appreciate Charlie's wonderful Connemara scene.Good luck;Arthur,Omagh.

Comment: I wonder if you would pass on my thanks to Mairead for telling such a beautiful and real story. I caught her story just by chance. She described my great uncle so clearly - I could have closed my eyes and been there too. Thank you again.
