Comment on Owen's story

Comment: This reminded me of a 6 month recuperation holiday, following illness, I spent in 1967 in Kilcar Co Donegal not far from Glencolumbkille.
I found the people to be the most pleasant kindly and courteous people at that time and nothing has changed.
I was also accepted very well by the community and there were tears from the people and gifts for me when i was leaving. An excellent opportunity for reminiscence

Comment: Did Owen ever go back to Glencolmkille?

Comment: I really liked this storey Owen and, like John Mitchel (above comment), I wonder did you ever go back and meet the family again and if so, are you still in touch. Oh, and what was the job?
