Two Small Feet

By Barbara Page from Northampton.

"O" for a new pair of feet, that would let me Walk the high snow capped mountains, And the green shadowy valleys so deep!

"O" for a new pair of feet that would let me Run with our dog in the bluebell woods, And play in the park with our children's children As others do, and not feel the pain and frustration.

"O" for a new pair of feet, that would let me Dance the night away to the strains of the soft magic music To take long moonlight walks along the silver shore, hand in hand with the one I love How I long for the day when I will leap like the deer And the deaf will hear and the blind will see The world will be at peace And God will give me a new pair of feet.
