The Norwich Big Screen, overlooking Chapelfield Plain, is hungry for content created in Norfolk to showcase to the thousands of people who pass it every day.

Becky Betts, the Big Screen producer for Norwich, oversees all programming decisions and submissions relating to local content. She's delighted at the material which has already been submitted.

"The creativity in Norfolk is outstanding, I've already seen a fabulous animation by Norfolk high school students and I can't wait for it to be shown on the screen," she said.

"The type of content we can show includes material from schools and colleges, universities, amateur film-makers, film-making collectives, animators,ΜύcommunityΜύgroups and photographers," she added.

Submitting your work

All submissions will be considered on merit, but the screen cannot show commercial advertisements, hard-hitting campaign led content or films that include music which hasn't had copyright clearance.

"We can accept material delivered on DV tape, DVD's and .jpgs - but we cannot screen content built as a Powerpoint presentation," said Becky.

"If people have got an an idea for the Big Screen the we'd love to hear from them."

The Norwich Big Screen is a partnership between the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ, Norwich City Council and the London Organising Committee For The Olympic Games (LOCOG). It is one in a network of 17 screens across the UK.
