Out to impressOn Thursday, 19 July, 2007, the group went to London to play their first ever set in the capital at a showcase put on by Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Blast. I travelled down with them on their tour bus (or should that be mini-bus!) to capture their thoughts on camera as they revved themselves up for their slot on stage - and I managed to catch a bit of their set on film too! The Kabeedies were picked to play for a VIP crowd after performing at Norwich's Waterfront in May for an event staged by Blast and Great Leap Forward, which helps to promote young bands. The band - who only fully got together six months ago - played a frantic six songs which included their favourite track Sideburns. Showcasing musicAfter initial nerves, the excitable four-piece of Katie Allard, Francis 'Fab' Bell, Evan Jones and Rory Hill relished the opportunity and sucked up the atmosphere at London's Hyde Park.
