Yeovil Town FC based in Somerset has made a spelling mistake on the packaging of some of its official merchandise.

It has been pointed out that the packaging of the football club's scarves reads "Yeovl" without the i, and has misspelt the word merchandise without an "r".

The scarves of the recently promoted National League team cost £16, however the scarves themselves have no spelling errors.

Yeovil Town told the Â鶹ԼÅÄ: "Human error is natural; we're not robots."

It's back to school season, and for lots of you that means stationery shopping!

Last year, shoppers visiting Sports Direct pointed out that manufacturers might need to go back to school themselves.

They spotted a spelling mistake on the the shop's stationery set.

The error described the kits as "stationary kits" - the two words are often mistaken for one another, but while 'stationary' means not moving, 'stationery' refers to writing and other office materials.

Bellingham might be a huge name in football, but that didn't stop his name being misspelt.

The 21-year-old, who is considered one of the best players in the world signed a six-year deal with Spanish giants Real Madrid last summer.

However during a video post on their social media, fans pointed out that the club needed to check their spelling.

They spotted that the club had misspelled the football star's name on his locker with it written as 'Bellimgham' and not Bellingham.

Road sign spelling mistakes are not as uncommon as you might think and there have been lots of examples over the years.

From a road marking in Middlesborough telling drivers to 'keep celar' instead of 'keep clear' to this spelling mistake on a large city road sign.

Residents pointed out the mistake that spelt the city of Chelmsford as "Chelmsord" missing out the "f".

Another spelling error that didn't get workers full marks was the painting of the word 'school' outside a primary school in Swansea.

Instead of school, workers spelt the word 'shcool' on the road outside the school.

An A for effort, but maybe an F for the spelling.

And, what about this Harry Potter Novel?

It was sold in February for £11,000 - but it has some mistakes.

The book is the very first copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, and is an uncorrected version, known as a proof.

Author JK Rowling's name is incorrectly written as JA Rowling in the first few pages.

But despite its spelling error, it has made a huge profit for its owner after it was bought for 30p nearly 13 years ago.
