Was it Bigfoot, Cricket or Piranha?

Take it off! Take it off! The winner of this year's Masked Singer has been revealed!

The final this year was between Cricket, Bigfoot and Piranha.

They each gave a solo performance and were also joined by previous contestants - Charlotte Church, Ricky Wilson, and Natalie Appleton - to perform duets during the final.

Out of the 12 competitors so far there's been Strictly judges, Greatest Showman stars and chat show queens under the mask.

The panel of Jonathan, Rita, Davina and Mo struggled to guess most of them this year, but just who was behind Cricket, Bigfoot and Piranha..?

Piranha - Danny Jones

It was Danny Jones who was crowned the winner of The Masked Singer this year - after he was revealed as the celebrity behind Piranha!

Danny is usually the singer and guitarist in the band McFly, and is a judge of The Voice Kids.

Speaking after his win he said: "I've had the most amazing time, I can escape behind here and just be Piranha and sing these songs. I've learnt so much, I'm able to sing higher now just from being on this show. I am so happy, thank you!"

He posted a video on social media of his son watching the final with his family, and finding out that not only had his dad been on The Masked Singer, but that he was the winner.

He sang It's All Coming Back To Me by Celine Dion, and duetted with previous contestant Fawn - Natalie Appleton - on Believe by Cher, and host Jonathan Ross told him that he given the "best performance... of any series" after he sang Lay Me Down by Sam Smith.

He is the third McFly star to win a reality TV show, after Harry Judd won the ninth series of Strictly Come Dancing, and Dougie Poynter won the 11th series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

Bigfoot - Alex Brooker

In second place was Bigfoot, who was revealed to be revealed as TV presenter and comedian Alex Brooker.

The star sang You're Welcome from the Moana Soundtrack, The One And Only by Chesney Hawkes, and duetted with past contestant Phoenix - Ricky Wilson - to sing Dancing on the Ceiling by Lionel Richie.

Speaking after his unmasking Alex said: "It was just the most fun. I love the show, my daughters love this show, they've got no idea. Girls, this is where daddy's been going all the time, this is why daddy's been singing in the car!"

Cricket - Lemar

In third place was Cricket, who was revealed to be singer Lemar.

Lemar is a singer, who has released hits like 50/50 and Justice, and even appeared as an actor in a Netflix TV series recently.

He duetted with previous contestant Mushroom - Charlotte Church - on Rewrite the Stars by Ann-Marie and James Arthur, as well as singing A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton.

Speaking after being unmasked Lemar said: "I thought it was going to be fun but it's been more fun than I could have imagined. I'm a fan of the show. Just getting to express yourself on different songs that people maybe wouldn't expect, that's been a lot of fun."

Previous winners of the show include Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts as Queen Bee, songwriter Joss Stone as Sausage, pop star Natalie Imbruglia as Panda and Busted's Charlie Simpson as Rhino.
